Question 4

‘As for khums, it has been made permissible for our Shia until the day of the appearance.’ How should I understand this noble statement of my master and lord, the Imam (a)? Alaa Razzaq 13 Rabi al-Awwal 1426 AH

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. So that their births may be pure, and so that his supporters may be lawfully born rather than unlawfully born if their sperm and bodies were formed from unlawful wealth usurped from Allah’s vicegerent on His earth. Khums is private property, so its owner may place it wherever he wishes and no one has the right to object to him. Its owner in this time is Imam al-Mahdi (a) and his vicegerents. Ahmed Alhasan
