Question 233

My noble master, I am a person who has fallen short and sinned, awaiting Allah’s pardon and forgiveness. After viewing the website, I found abundant knowledge shining from its letters and words. I therefore ask you to bestow upon us answers to some questions. They are not meant as a test-for who are we to test anyone among the people of divine authority?-but so that my heart may be reassured. 1. Have those who are fasting been permitted to break their fast when the crescent has appeared? 2. Who is the gate of Imam al-Mahdi (a), and who is the gate of Imam al-Hasan al-Askari (a)? 3. Who are the twenty-eight letters-the letters of the Arabic language-and were they created in their present order, or was there something else? I return, my noble masters, to emphasize to you that I am a very sinful servant who hopes for Allah’s pardon for my shortcomings. We ask Allah to hasten the appearance of our Riser and guide, the remover of oppression, clarifier of truth, subduer of tyrants, purifier of believers, manifester of truth, spreader of justice, and reassurer of souls. Sender: Hadi

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

The fasting person completes his fast on every day of Ramadan, including the final day of Ramadan, even if he sees the crescent before sunset. As for the letters of the language, I have explained that those at the beginnings of the surahs point to fourteen infallible ones, each letter representing the name of an infallible one. They are Muhammad (s), Ali (a), Fatima (a), al-Hasan (a), al-Husayn (a), Ali, Muhammad, Jafar, Musa, Ali, Muhammad, Ali, al-Hasan, and Muhammad (a). The remaining fourteen letters point to the rest of the family of Muhammad (a) among the Mahdis, and they point to fourteen stations belonging to them (a). Ahmed Alhasan
