Supporters Response:
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Intensely Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send His prayers upon Muhammad and his family, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Several narrations were transmitted from the Messenger Muhammad (s) and from his Ahl al-Bayt (a), reporting that banners of misguidance will emerge at the end of time ([284]). Those who are called Jund al-Sama' are one of those misguided banners. Their leader denied the most important foundations of the school of the family of Muhammad (s), claiming that he himself was Imam al-Mahdi (a) and that there is no absent Imam from the progeny of Imam al-Hasan al-Askari (a). In any event, their beliefs are necessarily false and contrary to dozens or hundreds of noble narrations. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Scientific Committee Supporters of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah establish him upon the earth) Sheikh Nazim al-Uqayli

↑ [284] From al-Mufaddal ibn Umar, who said: I was with Abu Abdullah (a) in his gathering, with others. He said to us: “Beware of publicizing”-meaning the name of the Qa’im (a). I thought he meant someone other than me. He said to me: “Abu Abdullah, beware of publicizing. By Allah, he will disappear for years of time and become obscure until it is said: ‘He has died; he has perished; which valley has he taken?’ The eyes of the believers will overflow for him, and they will be tossed about as a ship is tossed in the waves of the sea, until none is saved except one whose covenant Allah has taken, in whose heart He has inscribed faith, and whom He has supported with a spirit from Him. Twelve confusing banners will be raised, none distinguishable from another.” He said: I wept, and he said to me: “What makes you weep?” I said: “May I be your ransom. How could I not weep when you say twelve confusing banners will be raised, none distinguishable from another?” He looked at an opening in the house through which the sun shone into his gathering, and he (a) said: “Is this sun shining?” I said: “Yes.” He said: “By Allah, our matter is brighter than it.” Bihar al-Anwar: vol. 51, p. 147.
