Question 337

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, send prayers and peace upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace be upon you, my master and guardian. I renew the pledge of allegiance to you, my master, and ask you to supplicate for me and all my family. My master, we who show allegiance to you need your supplication, through which blessings are completed. Supplicate to Allah, Glorious is He, to keep us firm with you in well-being through His aid and decree. I apologize for my questions: 1. I have a box containing charity that I was collecting for a mosque. What should I do with it? 2. How do I pray in congregation behind an imam who does not believe in the Call? 3. Should I use precautionary concealment with people while they regard us with suspicion? 4. Is there a way to sponsor orphans of the Supporters with a sum of money, for example twenty Kuwaiti dinars? If possible, how is the amount delivered? 5. Is saying, ‘I testify that Ali and his infallible descendants …’ sufficient in place of the fourth testimony in the call to prayer? 6. Is it permissible to attend gatherings that call people to the evil jurists? 7. Is entering the blessed Call among the effects of the Friday ritual bath and persisting in it? This happened to me, and I published it on the forum according to what I believed. I ask you to clarify that. In closing, pardon my shortcomings. I ask for your supplications, my master. I ask Allah, Glorious is He, and ask you to honor me with meeting you, even in a dream. Supplicate that I remain firm with you. Sender: Abu Mustafa

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Answer to Q1: Spend the money in one of the ways of Allah, Glorious and Exalted, such as supporting an orphan, a widow, or a poor person, or spreading the word of truth. Answer to Q2: Do not follow a nonbeliever in your prayer. Either pray alone, as the prayer leader, or as a follower behind a believer. Answer to Q3: Precautionary concealment is only for necessity: to protect blood, wealth, and honor, or to preserve oneself in order to support Allah’s religion later. I ask Allah not to make you need precautionary concealment and to support you with mighty support by His favor, Glorious is He. Answer to Q4: You may contact some of your Supporter brothers, and Allah willing, they will undertake that. Answer to Q5: If it is for precautionary concealment, it suffices; otherwise, the four testimonies are required, as I explained in The Laws. Answer to Q6: If they are gatherings that call people to these wrongdoers, it is impermissible. Answer to Q7: The best thing that ascends from earth to heaven is sincerity, and the best thing that descends from heaven to earth is success granted by Allah. Every act of worship-whether the Friday ritual bath or another-has an effect upon success descending to the servant if he was sincere in it for the face of Allah. Ahmed Alhasan 1430 AH
