In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send His prayers upon Muhammad and his family, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Know, brother, that Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan announced his call in 2002 CE, in the midst of the religious seminary in holy Najaf. In that milieu he is known for guidance, righteousness, religion, and truthfulness; some of them even call him the Truthful and Trustworthy. He and his supporters continued spreading his call in Iraq for five years or more, by the various means available. Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan would travel throughout the provinces of Iraq and convey the message to the people himself and with his supporters. Many people from different classes met him, in addition to the hundreds of his supporters, including those who accompanied him for six years or more. But after the jurists of Kufa declared his blood lawful and instructed the government of al-Zawra to kill his supporters in Nasiriyah and Basra, they did indeed kill them, mutilate their pure bodies, and burn them with fire. To this day, Supporters of Imam al-Mahdi (a) remain in the oppressors' prisons, where they suffer psychological and physical torture. After all this and more, Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan was obliged to preserve his life so that he could carry out the duty entrusted to him, until Allah judges-and He is the best of judges. Know that the circumstances Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan is now experiencing are temporary, and Allah willing, he will soon return once again among the people. You know that Imam al-Mahdi (a) entered occultation because he had few supporters and feared being killed. Nevertheless, we must believe in him even if we do not see him. Seeing with the eye is not a condition of faith. May Allah reward you with good. I ask Allah to guide everyone to the truth by the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad (a).
