Question 821
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May Allah send prayers upon our prophet Muhammad and his family, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace be upon you and welcome, O son of Fatimah al-Batul, O her secret entrusted within her. Praise be to Allah who guided us to recognize your right. Praise be to Allah, my master, that I learned of your coming not from a human being but through revelation from Allah Most High, years before hearing of you in this physical world. The visions I ask you to graciously interpret are as follows. Before hearing of the Call, my master, I sent these visions for you to interpret, but the reply did not reach me, perhaps because I changed my email address after forgetting it. I ask you to interpret these visions for me, O truthful Joseph of the family of Muhammad (may Allah send prayers upon him and his family). Before hearing of your blessed Call, I saw in the world of the kingdom very clear visions. First, one night I was gazing at the sky and saw written there in letters of light, ‘There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.’ The same vision recurred on later days, and those words-the two testimonies-were also repeatedly written in the stars. Afterward I saw that I had believed the Mahdi (peace be upon him) had appeared and went to call people to believe in him. I said, ‘Indeed, every follower has an Imam from whose light of knowledge he seeks illumination. Indeed, your Imam, Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him), has appeared, so believe.’ When I awoke I was astonished and said, ‘Has the Imam appeared, although I have not heard of him in the world of witnessing?’ I forgot this vision. When I learned of your Call in this world, I told the supporter brothers-may the Lord bless them-‘You saw visions, but I did not.’ After I was reminded of you and believed in your blessed Call in this world, I was driving and for the first time directed my greeting to you privately between Allah and me, saying, ‘Peace be upon you, my Imam, O Ahmad, friend of Allah and Proof of Allah.’ I immediately remembered the vision in which I called people to the Imam and wept intensely. The vision was interpreted in this world. I was shocked by the multitude of blind people in it and knew Allah Most High was addressing me, telling me that the one I had seen in the vision and called people to was the First Mahdi (peace be upon him). In other visions, I saw inside the Kaaba two short black men smoking, so I expelled them and prayed in the Kaaba. In another, after keeping vigil on Laylat al-Qadr, the twenty-third of Ramadan, I slept and saw the angels descending on Laylat al-Qadr. After believing in you in this world, during Ramadan I would sleep and feel exceedingly happy in another world. Then, in the same Ramadan, I saw heaven open and my spirit ascend to heaven while attached to my body in this world and my heart beating. I am certain heaven opened for me and I ascended to it. I saw the stars, my master, as I had never seen anything in my life. Was it Laylat al-Qadr, my master? Is it like Allah Most High’s saying, ‘Had We willed, We would have opened for them a gate of heaven,’ to the end of the noble verse? Then I saw four moons and thought, ‘Usually I see one moon; something must happen in the world.’ All four were full. A little later I saw one approach the earth and grow hundreds of times larger than the ordinary moon. It looked at me, revolved toward the qiblah, and its light illuminated the earth. I thanked Allah and prostrated in gratitude toward the qiblah, although someone I did not know was with me. I awoke feeling I had been in the world of the kingdom, a feeling from a different world. Afterward I saw the Messenger laid out. After he stated the testament, the first Qaʾim, Ahmad (peace be upon him), appeared with his companions after the Messenger was taken to be buried. Inform us-may Allah benefit and support us through you and you through us, my masters. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you, my Proof Ahmed Alhasan (peace be upon him). Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. May Allah grant you success in every good. All your visions are good and a favor from Allah upon you. Allah revealed the unseen to you as He revealed it to the prophets (peace be upon them), so praise Allah that He favored you with this tremendous favor. Allah willing, you are among those granted success. I ask Allah to make you steadfast upon the truth and its support. Allah willing, the interpretation of some of your visions is that Allah will favor you with supporting the Mahdis. Allah is the Guardian of success. I ask Allah that you remain upon the truth and that He keep you steadfast upon it for as long as you live. He is my Guardian, and He protects the righteous. I apologize for not detailing your visions again. If they were lost previously, that is Allah’s will, so let us submit to what Allah, Glorious is He, wills. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
