Question 824
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon Allah’s Proof and the father of the oppressed. Peace be upon the supporter brothers and those working on the website. I do not remember the vision exactly, but it was as though someone invited me to be among the people of the Fire. I refused and was afraid. They told me, ‘Shake hands with this,’ and it was something ugly. I became very afraid and refused. Then I saw myself sitting somewhere, and Brother Faʾs Ahmad was seated there. He said, ‘Why did you refuse to be among the people of the Fire? Do you not know, “Blessed is whoever is in the fire”?’ I said, ‘I did not mean that.’ He told me to take the Quran, place my hand upon it, and say, ‘O Allah, place me in the Fire.’ I became extremely afraid; there was turmoil within me because the words were difficult to pronounce and swearing upon the Quran is difficult. But I placed my right hand upon the Quran and swore. He did not hear me, so I shouted, ‘Come back! Where did you go? Come and listen!’ and kept swearing. Then it became like a wave, the place changed, and I found myself with Brother Mukhayyam al-Husayn. I ran repeatedly around a circular courtyard reciting Surat al-Ikhlas so many times I cannot remember the number. Mukhayyam al-Husayn began shouting and running repeatedly, saying, ‘A light has appeared above her head!’ Then I stopped. After that I was prepared to enter the Fire and shake that person’s hand. It was as though I had recited the verses and Surat al-Ikhlas to be forgiven for my initial hesitation; I did not know the reason. Then I felt my spirit leaving me, so I bore witness with the four testimonies. Praise be to Allah. Allah willing, it is a good vision. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. Your vision is good and glad tidings for you. May Allah grant you success and guide your steps to what pleases Him, Glorious and Most High. I ask Allah to remove every disability and illness of body or spirit from you and all believing men and women. He is my Guardian, and He protects the righteous. Always recite this supplication with an attentive heart: [O You whose name is medicine and whose remembrance is healing; O You who places healing in whatever thing He wills: send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and make the healing of (mention the name if it is another person, or use the first-person possessive and say ‘my healing’) from this illness be through this name of Yours: ‘O Allah’ ten times; ‘O Lord’ ten times; ‘O Most Merciful of the merciful’ ten times]. Peace and Allah’s mercy be upon you.
