Question 38
Regarding prayer in a usurped place: if the prayer time is so short that the person prays while in the process of leaving, does this mean praying while walking, and what should he do about facing the qibla and prostration?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
He prays according to what is possible. If he is able to face the qibla, he faces it; if he is able to prostrate, he prostrates. Otherwise, he does not face the qibla and does not prostrate, but gestures for prostration.
