Question 14
What is the ruling on the su'r of the People of the Book and on their persons themselves?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
As for Jews and Christians, if they are not extremists and do not show hostility, they are judged outwardly to be pure like Muslims. However, most of them are extremists who say that Jesus is God, and most Jews are Nasibis. Even so, the matter is not without exceptions, especially now, as some sects among them have appeared that deny the divinity of Jesus.
