Question 154
I work as a translator for Iraqi traders at a company in Iran. A trader asked me to find materials not available at our company and offered to pay me for the search. I found them at another company for a certain price. May I add an amount to that company's price and benefit from the increase, as many translators do under the title of brokerage?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
There is no problem with that as long as the profit is limited and acceptable in the market.
