Question 55
While I was cooking chicken, red liquid blood continued to come out for some time; whenever I cleaned it, more blood appeared. Is this normal? What is the ruling on this blood, and may the meat be eaten?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
There is no problem with it and the meat may be eaten. Blood remaining in the body of a properly slaughtered animal after slaughter is pure.
