Question 70
May camel urine be used to treat a respiratory disorder in the chest of a believer? A doctor recommended it to me claiming that Imam al-Sadiq prescribed urine for such an illness.
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If you mean drinking camel urine, as some Wahhabi religious figures and those deceived by them do, this is an ugly and repulsive act, and it is not permissible to drink filth. As for Imam al-Sadiq, God's blessings be upon him, far be it from him to declare drinking filth lawful.
