Is it permissible to eat Brazilian chicken that is sold in the markets of Muslim countries?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If you know that the chicken was slaughtered in the proper religious manner, it is permissible for you to eat it. Its presence in the markets of Muslim countries is not evidence that it was properly slaughtered.
