Question 66
What is the ruling on eating mollusks or similar sea creatures, and on eating coriander, a plant commonly used in preparing food where we live?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
Mollusks such as octopus and similar creatures may not be eaten. Coriander, however, is lawful to eat and there is no problem with it.
