Question 122
If an unmarried man is considering marriage, may he marry an ordinary Sunni woman, or should he wait for relief?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
There is no problem in marrying a Muslim woman from a different school who is not hostile. If you want what is better, act according to the saying of the Messenger of God Muhammad: ‘Choose the woman of religion; may your hands be covered with dust.’ [Al-Kafi, vol. 5, p. 332.]
