Question 33
What is the ruling on women riding bicycles?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
For a woman, riding a bicycle, motorcycle, horse, or any saddle in general is disliked. As is known, a disliked act is permissible to perform; its being disliked means that leaving it is better, unlike what is forbidden, which may not be done. The answer is derived from his words — Alaa al-Salim.
