If a traveler fasts, is he committing a forbidden act and sinning, or is his fast merely invalid?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If he knows the religious ruling, he is sinful because he deliberately opposes Allah's ruling, whether by treating Allah's law lightly or by treating lightly and denying the one who conveys the law, the successor of Allah.
