Question 50

For pilgrims from inside Saudi Arabia, there are two ways to enter Mecca for Hajj: either obtaining an expensive government permit, or entering while wearing sewn clothing so that one is not questioned or stopped. If a pilgrim wears sewn clothing in this situation, is an expiation required?

He must offer a sheep as expiation.
