Question 41
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan, vicegerent and messenger of Imam al-Mahdi-may Allah hasten his relief: an objection has recently been circulating in the Shia community. It is known that when the Imam appears, or one who represents him appears, all rulings come from the Sacred Authority. This conflicts with what you issued concerning acting by precaution according to three manuals of rulings: Sayyid al-Sadr I, Sayyid al-Sadr II, and Sayyid al-Khomeini. What is the benefit of acting by precaution? It is known that most manuals contain conjectural rulings: if one is correct, he is not rewarded, and if he errs, he sins. I deeply apologize if my words or expression are mistaken. Many thanks to you. Sayyid Diya 26 Rabi al-Thani 1426 AH
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. You may ask about any religious ruling, and I must convey the answer to you. Ahmed Alhasan Jumada al-Awwal 1426 AH
