Question 42
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In narrations of the People of Infallibility concerning Gabriel’s Cry (a), words to this effect are reported: ‘The truth is with the family of so-and-so.’ Who are the family of so-and-so? Alaa Razzaq 27 Rabi al-Thani 1426 AH
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The truth is with the family of Imam al-Mahdi (a). They are the remainder of the family of Muhammad (a), and they are the twelve Mahdis. The truth is with the Yamani and his companions. They are the three hundred and thirteen Yamanis and those who follow them. As for the people of falsehood, they are many, including al-Sufyani and the family of al-Sufyani. Notice that Abu Sufyan was from the descendants of Umayya, who was the brother of Hashim, forefather of the Prophet Muhammad (s), and both Umayya and Hashim were from the descendants of Abraham (a). Likewise, at the end of time there are Abu Sufyan and Muhammad, and both of them. Ahmed Alhasan Jumada al-Awwal 1426 AH
