Question 90

Peace be upon the vicegerent of Imam al-Mahdi, our master Ahmed Alhasan, and upon his pure forefathers. I believe in you after examining everything your website contains and coming to believe. Allah and Imam al-Mahdi bear witness to my belief in you. All I want from you is to be among your supporters. Teach me how to be one of your supporters. I will not ask the impossible by asking to meet you personally, but teach me a deed through which I may communicate with you, even if it is spiritual communication, and a deed that will make me one of your supporters. I ask you by your grandfather al-Husayn to supplicate for me with this supplication, because I believe your supplication is answered. I implore you to say: ‘O Allah, heal Azzam al-Ubaydi of every illness and affliction from which he suffers, protect him from every enemy, make him firm upon the straight path, brighten his face, loosen the knot from his tongue, expand his breast, make him firm upon guidance, and forgive his past sins.’ I hope to find an answer to the two questions: that you teach me a deed through which I can communicate with you, even if only spiritually, and a deed that will make me one of your supporters. I hope you will supplicate for me with this supplication and utter it with your noble tongue, between whose utterance and the answer there is no veil. O son of Allah’s veil and Allah’s face, and vicegerent of Allah’s caliph upon His earth, peace be upon you from me. History repeats itself, and I will not abandon you, O descendant of al-Husayn. O Allah, make us firm in our allegiance to our master Ahmed Alhasan, by the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. My mobile number is disconnected because I did not pay the bill, but when I receive my salary I will pay it, in case you wish to call me. I am from an Arab tribe in the Hijaz that became Shia in the era of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (a), and praise be to Allah for the blessing of wilaya. Sender: Your servant, Azzam al-Ubaydi If the person receiving this message is one of Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan’s Supporters, I adjure you by al-Abbas to deliver this message to our master Ahmed Alhasan and have him answer it personally, or have someone convey his answer to me. If the message does not reach him, our dispute will be before our lady al-Zahra on the Day of Reckoning.

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace, Allah’s mercy, and His blessings be upon you. May you be wholesome and purified through allegiance to the truth, Allah willing. I ask you and all the Supporters-may Allah protect them from every harm-not to neglect the night prayer, supplication during it, and weeping before a merciful Lord. The gate to the Kingdom of the Heavens, which used to open for select prophets and messengers of Allah such as Abraham (a), is open today. Blessed are those who are given permission to enter and see what Abraham (a) saw. I, the sinful one who falls short, whose deeds are few and whose slips are many, have supplicated for you. I ask Allah, through His bounty and favor, to answer my supplication and grant you what you ask and the good of the Hereafter and this world.
