Question 89
I want a remembrance that I can recite which will enable me to see one of the infallible ones in the world of sleep, telling me that Ahmed Alhasan is the promised Yamani and the vicegerent and messenger of the awaited Proof (a). I have a three-year-old daughter who was born with Down syndrome. Can Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan heal her by Allah’s permission, as Allah’s prophet and His Spirit, Jesus (a), used to do? If he can, I believe in him from this moment, and Allah is witness to what I say. Peace in closing. Sender: Mazin Hamid Ahmed
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. The Supporters have a supplication; I ask them to take notice and send it. Jesus (a) used to say to those who asked him: ‘Take according to the measure of your faith’ ([158]).

↑ [158] Allah’s prophet Jesus emphasized this point concerning those whom he healed by Allah the Exalted’s permission: the result is commensurate with faith. It appears in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter nine: ‘19 Jesus arose and followed him, as did his disciples. 20 And behold, a woman who had suffered bleeding for twelve years came from behind him and touched the hem of his garment. 21 For she said within herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be healed.” 22 Jesus turned, saw her, and said, “Take heart, daughter. Your faith has healed you.” The woman was healed from that hour. 23’ It likewise appears in the same chapter: ‘27 As Jesus passed from there, two blind men followed him, crying out and saying, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” 28 When he entered the house, the two blind men approached him. Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 20 Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith, let it be for you.” 30 Their eyes were opened.’
