Question 109

I sought guidance from the Noble Quran concerning Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan, and these verses from Surat al-Anbiya appeared to me: ‘They said, “Who did this to our gods? He is surely one of the oppressors.” They said, “We heard a young man mentioning them; he is called Abraham.”’ The guidance produced this result twice in succession ([211]). Many thanks. Sender: Umm Raghad

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. As for His words, the Exalted, ‘They said, “Who did this to our gods? He is surely one of the oppressors.” They said, “We heard a young man mentioning them; he is called Abraham”’ ([212]): the scholars who do not act are the natural continuation of the idols worshipped instead of Allah, and the family of Muhammad (a)-the Imams and the Mahdis-are the natural continuation of their father Abraham (a) and his call to the truth.
