Question 118
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace be upon you. I saw a large procession of horsemen led by a horseman of splendid appearance. They carried red banners, and people stood along both sides of the road, cheering and calling, ‘This is the procession of Imam al-Mahdi (a).’ When they reached the place where I was standing, the procession stopped. The horseman of splendid appearance and radiant light turned toward me and smiled, took a pouch from his belt, threw it to me, and continued onward. When I opened the pouch, I found within it coins with golden borders and, inside them, an image of Imam Ali (a). I ask His Eminence the Sayyid, the Yamani, to interpret the vision and advise us. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. In this world a person receives money in exchange for work, while in the Kingdom of the Heavens a person receives reward for his obedience and worship. These coins in the vision therefore indicate the good deeds the dreamer obtained. The image of Imam Ali (a) upon them indicates that they were in exchange for following the true divine wilaya.
