Question 120

Peace be upon you. Two days ago I saw a vision of the Day of Resurrection: valleys of fire, valleys of embers, valleys of animals, and a small wire, while the people were in an uproar and each person chose a path. A group and I crossed these valleys and reached the mountain’s summit. I asked, ‘Who are these disturbed, bewildered people, each of whom does not know where he is going? It is a terrifying sight.’ A man said to me, ‘Do you not know why?’ I said, ‘No.’ He said, ‘This is the Day of Resurrection,’ and I became afraid. He told me, ‘We have crossed these distances, and only a little remains.’ What does this dream mean? Thank you, and greetings to Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan (a) ([271]). Sender: Hawra al-Khafaji

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. These are the days of the Lesser Resurrection. This vision is glad tidings from Allah to you that you are traveling upon the path of truth. Your ascent to the mountain means ascent to the Kingdom of the Heavens, and your crossing the valleys of fire means your deliverance from misguidance. Allah is the One who grants success.
