Question 263

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and his family, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace be upon you, my master and guardian Ahmed Alhasan. May Allah send prayers upon you and your forefathers, and may Allah make us among the Muslims who prostrate to you forever and ever and never disobey you in any command. Indeed, He has power over everything. We have no might or power except through Him, Glorious is He. We hope from Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, that He does not bereave us of you, by your right upon Him, though we do not know your right. My master and guardian Ahmed, I have a question. I hope from Allah, the Most High, that you will bestow upon your weak, sinful bondwoman who has fallen short an answer to it. I have a five-month-old nursing daughter and wish to know: in completing the nursing period, is it preferable not to feed her anything other than milk for two full years? I also have a request, if you permit me, my master: that you pray for my husband, my brothers in this country, and me with that which your pure and holy soul generously grants.
