Question 285
I am a committed Shia, attached to and yearning for the day of victory for the oppressed and the appearance of the State of Truth. I came across your website by chance, which aroused my curiosity that perhaps the truth is with you. I am not certain, since the narrations mentioned are not definitive in their indication. I pledge to the Sayyed that I will be a sincere soldier for him if he shows me, by email, conclusive proof specific to me that establishes the truthfulness of his call, since he is supported by the unseen as is supposed. Allah is witness to what I say. The doubter, Firas - Switzerland
Supporters Response:
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Intensely Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send His prayers upon Muhammad and his family, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. To proceed … Many are those who request reports of the unseen. If Sayyed Ahmad al-Hasan responded to them, this might require him to inform millions of people, each one separately, and this is contrary to wisdom. Yes, Sayyed Ahmad al-Hasan informed some people of matters of the unseen, but without a prior request. You will find this in the book The Vision Is a Proof, volumes 2 and 3. This alone is sufficient for what is sought. But for every person to desire a report specific to himself reminds me of the Exalted’s words: “Rather, every one of them desires to be given unrolled pages” ([307]). In the interpretation of the preceding verse and others, it has been transmitted from the Ahl al-Bayt (a) what indicates that this will recur before the uprising of Imam al-Mahdi (a), and that there will be those each of whom requests unrolled pages specific to himself: From Jabir, from Abu Jafar (a), in a long narration that I have abridged: “… ‘So that those in whose hearts is sickness may say’-meaning by that the Shia and their weak ones-‘and the disbelievers, “What did Allah intend by this as an example?”’ Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said to them: ‘Thus Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills.’ The believer submits, while the disbeliever doubts. His words, ‘None knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him,’ mean that your Lord’s soldiers are the Shia, and they are Allah’s witnesses upon the earth. His words, ‘It is only a reminder to humankind,’ and ‘for whoever among you wishes to advance or remain behind,’ mean today, before the emergence of the Qa’im (a): whoever wishes accepts the truth and advances toward it, and whoever wishes remains behind from it … His words, ‘We used to deny the Day of Judgment,’ mean that the Day of Judgment is the emergence of the Qa’im (a) … Then Allah Most High said, ‘Rather, every one of them desires to be given unrolled pages.’ He said: Every man among the opponents desires that a book be sent down to him from heaven. Then the Exalted said, ‘No; rather, they do not fear the Hereafter.’ It is the State of the Qa’im (a) …” ([308]). I ask Allah to protect us and you from being among the instances of this verse. As for your statement that the narrations mentioned as proofs for Sayyed Ahmad al-Hasan are not definitive in their indication, we are at your service: ask and seek clarification, and Allah willing, the answer will come to you. I will mention to you an argument concerning the proof of the will. If you have observations about it, we are at your service. I say: The first proof is the will of the Messenger Muhammad (s) on the night of his death. The remainder of the discussion is mentioned in the preceding answer. The Scientific Committee Supporters of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah establish him upon the earth) Sheikh Nazim al-Uqayli
