Question 313

Peace be upon whoever follows guidance and fears the Most Gracious in the unseen. My question to your eminence: Is what you proclaim the divine religion of Allah, affirmed by all heavenly messages, which is utterly remote from the religions that currently exist-whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim-in terms of the doctrine of Allah’s sovereignty, or the corruption and wrongdoing presently spread throughout the earth? Sender: Ibrahim - Saudi Arabia

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. The religion of Allah is one, sent down from One. The religion of Jesus, Moses, and Muhammad (a) is one. As for what presently exists among the people, it contains much alteration. For this reason, I have come to make the whole truth clear as Allah, Glorious is He, wills it. Ahmed Alhasan Dhu al-Qidah, 1430 AH
