Question 315
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious-in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. How my distance from you grieves me, my master Ahmed Alhasan-peace of Allah be upon you. How I burn with distress and am torn by pain because I am in Saudi Arabia and not in Iraq to see you and kiss your noble hand. My master, I ask you not to forget me in your supplication. I need your supplication. You are Allah’s blessing upon us. I do not know how to express myself; the letters have become mixed with the meanings until I can no longer distinguish expression from complaint. My expressions are my complaint, and my complaint is my expressions. My master Ahmed Alhasan, I want to be among those especially close to you; I ask you, my master. By Allah, it is not for the honor of a fleeting world and not from fear of the Fire. If I am among the people of the Fire, that is Allah’s justice, and in the Fire I will say that I love Allah, and in the Garden I will say that I love Allah. In both, ultimately, I love Allah and His justice. Death does not matter to me so long as it is your path, my master, for it will be death in the way of Allah. Since when has my life had any value without you, O family of Muhammad? I love you, my master, more than my father, my mother, and myself. The world, my master, is no longer worth a mosquito’s wing in my eyes. Joys have become equal to sorrows, and I no longer feel anything except through you, O family of Muhammad. Allah knows that I write these letters to you while tears flow from my eyes. My master, if you and your father, my master Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Mahdi-may Allah’s prayers be upon him-would always single me out in your supplication: I want to be among those especially close to you and among those who defend you with the sword, not the pen, publicly, not in secret. I want death in your way, O family of Muhammad. When will relief come? Help, help, help, my master. The occultation has become long, and I swallow bitterness with each passing day while I am far from you. The son of the Mahdi is among us, yet we are deprived even of seeing him-what a calamity our hearts cannot bear. My only consolation is that I feel you, feel your effusion and your father’s effusion-may Allah’s prayers be upon him-by the grace of Allah, Glorious is He, alone without partner. Before I learned of your Yamani Call, materialism destroyed the human being within me. Nothing remains for me except love of you, O family of Muhammad. My distance from you, my master, is grievous, difficult, and heavy upon me. Allah knows that when the Yamani Call came to me by Allah’s will and arrangement, I felt as though I had already known this Call in the World of the Atom; indeed, as though I knew you, Ahmed Alhasan. I previously sent a message concerning Imam Ali al-Rida, but the message was lost among the Supporters at the time of the arrest by the Pharaohs of the tyrannical regime embodied in the Iraqi government, based on an edict from the Balaam ibn Baura of their age. The message was lost after the website stopped operating for a time. The content of that previously lost message was as follows: For many years I have felt as though I have an appointment with Imam Ali al-Rida and as though I sat with him and saw him: he was dark-complexioned, wearing white, amid a misty atmosphere filled with devastation from wars, rains, and storms. This is a remembrance in the World of the Atom whose interpretation I have not known throughout those years. At times I even marvel at such a remembrance that comes to me. I used to conceal the matter, thinking it was illusion, since Imam Ali al-Rida was martyred while I live in the age of Imam al-Mahdi’s occultation, so how could the meeting occur? When I read one of the Supporters’ books, which connects the condition of the Shia in the time of Imam Ali al-Rida and its similarity to the Shia and their condition in your time, my master, I became certain that you are the one whom I will meet one day. Perhaps Imam Ali al-Rida in the remembrance is a symbol meaning you, or perhaps I will meet Imam Ali al-Rida in the age of the Return; Allah knows best. This is a message to my master Ahmed Alhasan-may Allah’s prayers be upon him. I hope it reaches my master, that he responds to my plea by always singling me out in his supplication, and that he interprets for me this remembrance in the World of the Atom concerning Imam Ali al-Rida. I thank my master for his clarification concerning the inner name, because I heard it from one of the Sufis. The falsity of the words of the Sufis became clear to me through the knowledge of the Yamani (a). I also want, through the knowledge of letters, that you reveal to me, my master, the answer to this question: Who is Azzam al-Ubaydi? I want to know my condition: am I upon goodness or under Allah’s wrath? Will I be among the 313 supporters, the ten thousand, the Abdal, or the Nujaba? This is my dream and aspiration: to be at least something mentioned in the age of the Appearance-not for a fleeting world, but so that I may know the degree of my acceptance with my Lord, the family of Muhammad, Imam al-Mahdi, and you as well, my master. My father also saw a dream about me years ago. He saw Allah saying to him: ‘Give Me Azzam and I will form him, while his lineage on earth will belong to you.’ My father then said to Him: ‘Take him; I have given You Azzam.’ I swear by Allah that this is what my father told me. What is the interpretation of this dream? Also, on one occasion I found two African women begging in the street, so I gave charity to them. I then found money disappearing from my wallet in an unnatural way. For example, I would have forty riyals and find it had become twenty. I was compelled to place my money inside the Quran after becoming certain it was sorcery. How do I break this sorcery that took money from me, when my only fault was giving charity to two sorceresses without knowing? I apologize to the site administration for troubling you, but this is my last message to my master the Yamani so that I do not trouble and exhaust you. Yet I wish to communicate with my master-may Allah’s prayers be upon him-through letters from time to time; this is all I can do while the distances between us are great. Sender: al-Ubaydi - Saudi Arabia
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Praise be to Allah who has bestowed you upon me and honored me by allowing me to serve you. He is my Guardian, and He takes charge of the righteous. As for what your heart told you, Allah willing, my Lord will make it true in this worldly life. I ask Allah to protect you, guide your steps, and make you among the witnesses over His creation. Do not forget me in your supplication, just as I do not forget you, Allah willing. I hope Allah grants you success in reciting Ayat al-Kursi seven times every night before you sleep, for forty days. Ahmed Alhasan
