I have heard about your Call. I follow the religion of the Christ whom you call Jesus son of Mary. I read some of your books on the internet after a colleague at work here in London who is loyal to your views gave them to me. I felt drawn to your noble person despite not holding your belief, because of your persuasive writings. But I want conviction so that my heart may become reassured, as they say. My colleague told me news that was shocking to me: that you were the likeness of the Lord Jesus at the time of his crucifixion, and that your noble body bears the marks of the crucifixion that occurred in the past. My question is: is it possible for you to show us photographs revealing the remaining marks of that great event? Trust, O virtuous one, that if this is established for us, my family and I will follow you and affirm your Call with ourselves and our wealth. The other question: do you remember the words Jesus said at the end of his life when he cried, ‘My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?’ This point has left me perplexed until now, because it makes me doubt the divinity of Jesus, although I was baptized in the church.
