In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send His prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Sister, first, you must study the proofs of this blessed call, because it concerns your Hereafter and Allah's pleasure depends upon it. Do not make your aim worldly and material, because what wealth produces disappears when wealth disappears. The matter is not such that people should make knowledge of the truth contingent on their worldly needs being fulfilled, and that, if they are not fulfilled, the call is false. No rational person could ever maintain this. Let the aim first and foremost be knowledge and support of the truth. Thereafter, everything is in the hands of Allah Most High, whether miracles, reports of unseen matters, or the like. If Allah, Glorious is He, knows that a person is sincere in seeking the truth with an intention pure for Him alone, without partner, He may then favor that person by fulfilling his needs. There is no miserliness in His domain-Majestic is His glory. Even some of the prophets through whose hands miracles appeared did not bring them except by Allah's permission. The people asked some of them for certain miracles, but they did not respond because divine permission for them had not been given. Whoever seeks a miracle especially for himself or the fulfillment of a need should ask Allah by the right of Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan. The matter is in Allah's hands.
