My guardian and master Ahmed Alhasan, messenger of the Remnant of Allah Muhammad ibn al-Hasan-may Allah perpetuate his favor upon us, and may Allah send prayers upon both of you, your forefathers, and your mother Fatimah al-Zahra, the mistress of the women of the worlds; may my soul be your ransom-peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. My master, the place was the Western Sahara, around 1978. After I despaired of the conditions whose cause, following my search for the truth, I learned was the events of the ill-fated coup against the mercy of Allah sent by the Lord of the worlds-may Allah send prayers upon him and his good and pure family, the Imams and the Mahdis-on the day of Saqifah, I saw a vision before dawn. I was proceeding alone along a road. Beside the door of a building, an idol began to split open, revealing an ugly creature that I thought was Iblis-may Allah curse him. My tongue began calling out, ‘One, One, One, One.’ Voices behind me rose with the same name, our voices became one and rose thunderously, and then the idol’s cracks closed. The idol returned to its former condition, the ugly creature disappeared, and I awoke terrified as the caller to prayer called for the dawn prayer. My guardian and master, know that this vision is among the things that moved me to believe you and have faith in what you brought. My master, supplicate to Allah for my success and that He provide me love and affection for you, calling to you, and service to your supporters. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
