Question 468

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. There is no power or strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you, my master and guardian, Imam Ahmed Alhasan. May Allah grant you patience, my dear father, against the injustice and tyranny that have filled land and sea, and may Allah-through whom alone there is power and strength-aid you and aid us in supporting you, O son of the Messenger of Allah (s). In the prayer of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a) for the bearers of the Throne and every angel brought near, al-Sahifah al-Sajjadiyyah states: ‘And the Spirit who is over the angels of the veils, and the Spirit who is from Your command: send prayers upon them and upon the spiritual ones among Your angels.’ To what is Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn (a) referring? Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. May Allah grant you success in every good. There is a book about the spirit that contains detailed discussion of many matters connected to the question of the spirit. Allah willing, when its time arrives it will be published and you will read it. Do not forget me in your supplication. May Allah direct you and provide you the good of the Hereafter and this world.
