Question 567
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. I am Tunisian. I was a Sunni of the Maliki school, a Wahhabi who followed al-Albani and others, a Sufi, and one of the Quranists and the al-Fara’niyyin (sic). In 2003, I became Shia and attained insight, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. In a dream, I saw the Prophet Muhammad (s) and Imam Ali (a). On Thursday, December 24, 2009, I heard for the first time in my life about an Imam named Ahmed Alhasan (a). On Friday, December 25, 2009, after the sunset prayer, he entered my heart, my flesh, and my blood, and I pledged allegiance to him before the people in the room of the Supporters of Imam al-Mahdi, and praise be to Allah. Now I say to Imam Ahmed Alhasan (a): In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful ... Praise be to Allah, who guided us to this, for we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us. The Exalted said: ‘Allah was certainly pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you beneath the tree. He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent tranquility down upon them and rewarded them with a victory near at hand’ ([79]). Peace be upon Muhammad, the Chosen One, and his noble Household-may Allah’s prayers be upon them all. Peace be upon my master and guardian, Imam Ahmed Alhasan, his sons the Mahdis, and his pure Household-may Allah’s prayers be upon them all. My pledge of allegiance is to my master and guardian, Imam Ahmed ibn al-Hasan (a). I testify that Imam al-Mahdi Ahmed Alhasan (a) is the vicegerent and messenger of Imam al-Mahdi (a). Sender: Khalid - Tunisia
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. May Allah grant you success in every good, keep every evil away from you, and make your outcome lead to good. May Allah reward you with goodness on behalf of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad for supporting the truth in an age when supporters are few. I ask Allah to grant me success in serving you. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan 1431 AH
