In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. I write to you, my master and guardian, while a fire blazes in my heart from the effect of the affliction that befell me. Praise be to Allah for His affliction, for I have seen nothing but beauty. My master and guardian, I complain to you of what happened to me, so that perhaps my complaint and your knowledge of the matter will ease it for me. On March 21 of last month, my marriage contract was concluded. One week after that date, I was divorced. The reason was that I held fast to your Call, even though I did not adopt a course of abuse and disparagement and my proofs were as you graciously presented them. But he felt incapable before the proofs, so he preferred divorce to remaining with me. I feel a deep wound in my heart, for he shattered my dignity. Now he and his mother go about among the people, falsely telling them that I insulted al-Sistani. They accused my sister of insanity, and it has reached our ears that a group intends to attack our home because we spread the Call. My master and guardian, I am lost and do not know what I truly need, but I ask you to reply to me. I need something to alleviate my sadness. Guide me, my guardian, and supplicate for me that Allah obtain my right for me. I ask you, my master, do not send me away disappointed. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
