Question 582

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Peace be upon the Sayyid al-Yamani. My master, I have a question concerning presenting my condition and my wife’s condition to a woman who specializes in spiritual knowledge and undoing acts of sorcery. She told us that there is a binding between us and that we should bring her my shirt, my wife’s shirt, and a lock so that she may undo the binding and we may be granted a child. Should we do that? Is this correct? What is the treatment for it? Inform us-may Allah have mercy upon you. Thank you. Sender: A Supporter - Australia

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. May Allah grant you success in every good. Perform these deeds: 1. Write Surat al-Fatiha, the Verse of the Throne, Surat al-Ikhlas, and the two refuge surahs with saffron upon a white sheet of paper. Then dissolve the writing in five liters of water. Wash yourself with half the water, and let your wife wash herself with the remaining half, exactly like the ritual bath for major ritual impurity and the Friday ritual bath. Collect the water that drips off and pour it in a clean place. Do not let it go away with bathroom water to an unclean place. 2. You and your wife should recite these remembrances: A. Ten thousand times: ‘Glory be to Him; He is Allah, the One, the All-Conquering.’ B. Recite Surat al-Nur (seventy times). Recite the Verse of Subjugation seventy times: ‘Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself over the Throne. He covers the night with the day, which pursues it swiftly; and the sun, the moon, and the stars are subjugated by His command. Unquestionably, creation and command belong to Him. Blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds. Call upon your Lord humbly and secretly. Indeed, He does not love the transgressors. Do not cause corruption upon the earth after it has been set right, and call upon Him in fear and hope. Indeed, Allah’s mercy is near to the doers of good’ ([80]). C. Recite Surat Ya-Sin after the dawn prayer and Surat al-Waqia after the sunset prayer for forty days. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Mid-Shaban / 1431 AH
