Question 603

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace be upon you, O Proof of Allah on earth. Peace be upon the supporters of our Imam, our beloved, and the vicegerent of our Imam al-Mahdi (a). This was my dream, and Allah knows best whether it has an interpretation or not. I do not know whether it was something from Satan or not. It is known that I-and I seek refuge in Allah from the ego-am afraid of everything, even in dreams. But in this dream I was not afraid, despite its ugliness. I saw myself in the restaurant of the university where I study. I took my plate and the complete meal but did not notice what food was on the plate. The important point is that I reached the middle of the restaurant to take a piece of bread. I was trying to cut it with a knife and accidentally cut off my left index finger. But I was extremely calm. I took the severed part of the finger and put it in my mouth beneath my tongue, bandaged the remainder of the finger, and went to the restaurant kitchen. I asked those present to bring me a plate containing disinfectant. I took the severed part out of my mouth and placed it in the disinfectant, and I also placed the remaining part of the finger in it. I waited for the ambulance. Everyone was afraid except me; I was at ease. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. A special request of the Imam, the Proof: please supplicate for me that Allah make my feet firm upon the straight path, guidance, and supporting the Imam until the Day of Judgment.
