Question 604
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace be upon you. When I learned of the matter of Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan and went to sleep, I had this dream, as best I remember, and I ask Allah’s forgiveness for any addition or omission: By the window of my room there was something. It was as though someone there was dead yet not dead, hidden yet not concealed. There was a powerful energy within him, as though there were a momentous matter here. I felt heat when I was beside it, felt afraid, and mentioned Allah often. There is also a continuation, but I will suffice with this much because it is difficult for me to describe the vision. Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. I ask Allah to grant you success, knowledge of the truth, and its support. As for your vision, it concerns this true Call and clarifies the condition of its companion. His being dead yet not dead means that he entered this world in the past, was killed, and departed from this world. You can review the matter of the one made to resemble Jesus (a), which is found in volume four of The Allegories. His not being dead means that now, at this time, he is present in this world. As for his being hidden yet not concealed, it means that the matter of the First Mahdi is present in the Sunni and Shia narrations from the Messenger Muhammad (s) and the family of Muhammad (a), and in the will of the Messenger of Allah (s), and the books have transmitted it. Yet despite this, it is a matter almost hidden from the general public, because Allah’s will is that this matter appear when its companion comes. As for the energy within him, it is the light of Allah, and the heat you feel is the heat of true life. Mentioning Allah makes clear to you that your vision is a revelation from Allah, Glorious is He, to you. May Allah grant you success. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Rajab al-Asabb, 1431 AH
