Question 617
I saw in a dream that I was reading the Quran in a land outside the city, when a flash appeared in the sky. I was frightened because it was unnatural and terrifying. After a few moments, the streaks of lightning began turning into words. Among them I read the names of the Prophet Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, many of the Household, and the Messenger’s companions, including Umar, Abu Bakr, Bilal, and many others. The sky was filled with names, and suddenly my mother awakened me from sleep. What is the interpretation of this vision? May Allah reward you with goodness. Know that this vision occurred on a Monday. Sender: Nur - Iraq

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. The vision means that there is a new message from heaven that is exactly similar to the message of the Messenger Muhammad (s) and to the previous divine messages. This is the message of the Mahdi. The flash means a light of guidance from heaven-that is, a divine message. The names are the people who will be within it. It is a message like the messages before it: just as the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (s), had companions and a household, among whom were those who believed in him, those who succeeded him, and those who acted hypocritically after him or during his message, so it is in the message of the Mahdi. Just as Moses had a Samiri, and Jesus had Judas, Muhammad (s) likewise had one who resembled the Samiri and his helpers. Likewise, with the Mahdi there will be a Samiri and his helpers. This is the way of Allah, and you will find no change in the way of Allah. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Muharram al-Haram, 1432 AH
