Question 626

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. My master and guardian, O Yamani of the family of Muhammad, peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Several months ago, my father (may Allah have mercy upon him) passed into Allah’s mercy. While he was on his deathbed, I presented the blessed Call to him. His condition was very poor, but despite that he listened to me and said, ‘This is the truth, this is the truth.’ Praise be to Allah, he believed in the true Call and performed the full ritual bath of repentance. Two days later, he passed into Allah’s mercy. After his death, we began seeing him frequently in the world of visions. Among them: I saw that Sayyid Ahmed (a), my father, a group of supporters, and I were sitting at a dining spread. My father asked Imam Ahmed (a) a question, and the Sayyid (a) said, ‘Allah forbid, it is not as you understood. Rather, your Lord revealed to the mountain and told it, “Write such-and-such.”’ My father said, ‘Our Sayyid, you are Allah’s mountain, and I am the mountain of Ali ibn Abi Talib.’ The supporters laughed. My father said, ‘Our Sayyid, do you suppose that the mountain of Ali ibn Abi Talib would be among us and I would not support him? By Allah, this will never be.’ By ‘the mountain of Ali (a),’ he meant Sayyid Ahmed (a). Could you interpret the vision for us? May Allah protect you and make us among your servants and supporters, by the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. In another vision, I saw that it was as though I were visiting my father’s grave, but my father’s grave was like a shrine and sanctuary that people visited. A woman was writing her request and casting it upon the grave. Within myself, I said, ‘The fulfillment of this request is by the grace of Imam Ahmed (a).’ My uncle was beside the grave, crying and saying, ‘What will become of me?’ He was afraid of death. Pardon us, O ally of Allah, for taking so much of your time. Favor us and be charitable to us with supplication and forgiveness. May Allah reward you with the best reward and assemble us with you, by the right of Muhammad and his good and pure Household, the Imams and the Mahdis. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Sender: Hilal al-Suwayfi

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. May Allah grant you success in every good. Praise be to Allah, who bestowed the blessing of faith upon your father, took him in death, and granted him a good end. Allah willing, the vision gives you glad tidings that he is in goodness and proceeding toward goodness, by Allah’s grace and by virtue of his belief in the truth and in the Mahdi. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Muharram al-Haram, 1432 AH
