Question 629
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. ‘Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not those who have incurred wrath, nor those who have gone astray.’ Allah, the Most High, the Almighty, has spoken the truth. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. The dream occurred before we learned of the blessed Yamani Call. At that time, there were disagreements between my wife and me almost every day. My wife saw in a dream that she was climbing a staircase. The staircase was made of brown wood and was about to collapse. I was above, on a flat piece of land in space, and nothing of my whole body was visible except my right hand and only the bottoms of my feet. I was calling her to come up, but she hesitated between ascending and descending. Her clothing was black on top and white below. In the dream she felt that she wanted to ascend, but voices appeared around her telling her, ‘Do not go,’ or, ‘Do not ascend,’ while some of them said, ‘Do not listen to what he says; ascend.’ She felt that there were people beside me whom she knew very well, and that they were women. Each time she climbed one step, she saw that the preceding step had fallen, so she could not descend. I encouraged her to climb. When she came close to reaching the top, the stairs were about to collapse, so I threw her a rope for her to hold. I had wanted to tie the rope because she had delayed, but the voice of one woman cried out and said to me, ‘Do not tie the rope to the stairs; leave, so that she can climb at her ease.’ Then she took hold of the rope and climbed it a little, and then I awoke. Many thanks and respect to you. Allah willing, this dream is good. I seek refuge in Allah from the word ‘I,’ for myself and my wife, and from the evil of the soul that commands evil. And peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. There is neither power nor strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Almighty. Sender: Ahmed - Kuwait
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. May Allah grant you success in every good. It is a vision giving her glad tidings from Allah that you have recognized the path of truth and that she will follow you by ascending the stairs and recognizing the truth. But there are devils from among humankind and jinn trying to prevent her while she ascends and comes to know the truth. I ask Allah to grant you both knowledge of the truth, to increase you from His bounty, and to set your condition right in that which holds the good of the Hereafter and this world. He is my Guardian, and He takes charge of the righteous. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Muharram al-Haram, 1432 AH
