Question 635

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and hasten their relief, O Generous One. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. I was afraid and bewildered regarding Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan (a). Then one of your Supporters directed me-as guidance from Allah-to reach the truth of the matter and the reality of the subject, which made me look into it. At that point I hated the world despite all its vastness. I had extensive connections among the scholars and loved listening to their words. When I came to know the reality of the matter, my soul became bewildered, I lost the path, and I felt lost in this terrifying universe. But my adherence to the Household (a) would bring me to the truth of the matter. I intended to fast after Ramadan and perform the prayer of seeking aid, but a great fear came over me. My thoughts would not stop, and I continued thinking about the sayyid’s matter. Within myself I feared that if my family knew, they would kill me, because in their view I would be rebelling against the scholars. My thoughts kept besetting me: how could I marry a person who was with the scholars but would obstruct my movement with the sayyid? My soul was bewildered in every way, and I wanted nothing except to reach the truth of the subject and for my soul to be reassured. Then I slept. In the vision, I saw my family on one side, and I saw Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan, though I did not see his face. A large group was with him. There were people with my family whom I did not know and could not distinguish. I was in the middle, greatly afraid, torn between my family and joining the sayyid. After this fear, I saw Imam al-Mahdi-may Allah hasten his relief-speak words which I do not now remember, for they have left my memory. My soul then became greatly reassured, and I knew I was upon the truth, so I went with Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan (a). When I went with them, I wished my family were with me, but they were not. I feared for them, but my soul was reassured when I was with the sayyid’s Supporters. Note: I had neither fasted three days nor performed the prayer of seeking aid through Fatima al-Zahra (a). Have I now become one of your Supporters or loyal adherents with Imam al-Mahdi-may Allah hasten his relief? I ask Allah to grant me a husband from the Supporters of the Master of the Age and Time and righteous offspring who will support Imam al-Mahdi-may Allah hasten his relief-and to keep me firm upon the truth for as long as You keep me alive, to let me live the life of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and die the death of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. We ask Allah for guidance so that we may reach the truth of the matter and that He keep me firm with the Supporters of Imam al-Mahdi-may Allah hasten his relief. We entrust you to supplicate for us. May you remain under the care of the Greatest Remnant of Allah, the Proof ibn al-Hasan, the Awaited Mahdi-may Allah hasten his relief. Sender: Huzn Fatima - Bahrain
