Question 670

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send abundant prayers and peace upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you, my master and guardian Ahmed Alhasan. I ask Allah to make us steadfast upon your authority and support, and by His mercy, Glorious is He, to record us among those martyred before you. This question is from supporters who do not speak Arabic; they asked that it be translated and directed to the Imam (a). Question: When Jesus (a) said this statement in the Gospel of John, chapter sixteen: ‘12 I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now,’ what are these things he (a) intended that the people of his age could not bear? Are people in our day capable of bearing them? Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Sender: Brother Darren - United States

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. They are the sciences that the Riser disseminates among the people. Narrations from Abu Abdullah (a) have indicated them. He said: ‘Knowledge consists of twenty-seven letters. All that the messengers brought is two letters, and until today the people have known nothing but the two letters. When our Riser rises, he will bring forth the twenty-five letters and disseminate them among the people. He will join the two letters to them, until he disseminates all twenty-seven letters’ ([32]). Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
