Question 673
It is related in the Supplication of Lamentation: ‘Where is the foremost of creation, the possessor of righteousness and God-consciousness?’ What is the meaning of ‘the foremost of creation’? May Allah, Glorious is He, make us steadfast upon your authority. Sender: Abu Haydar - Iraq/Basra

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send abundant prayers and peace upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. ‘The foremost of creation’ means the one who is in advance. Allah’s vicegerent is in advance of the rest of creation in his age by his deeds and sincerity, and Allah has advanced him over the rest of creation through divine appointment. Ahmed Alhasan
