Question 674
Why do we sometimes feel that something happening to us has happened before-déjà vu? Is there a secret behind these situations? Can we learn something from them? Sender: Karoline Horn - Germany
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send abundant prayers and peace upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. A human being’s spirit can look upon some of the future unseen by reading in the heavenly Tablet of Effacement and Confirmation, and through many paths. One clear and well-known path is the visions you see in sleep that, after a period of time, are realized as you saw them in reality. Sometimes you see the vision and are heedless of it upon waking, but when the event occurs in reality, you notice that it passed before you previously. You may remember that it passed in a previous vision you had forgotten, or you may remain heedless that it passed in a previous vision, and consequently not know the reason for your feeling that this event passed before you in the past.
