A woman vowed to fast for a month if the subject of her vow was realized. It has now been realized, but her husband does not accept that she fulfill her vowed fast. A female supporter - Basra
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. If it is possible that the vow will deprive the husband of some of his rights-such as a vow to fast, perform the pilgrimage, make a visitation, or the like-and the husband is a believer, the woman’s vow is not valid if her husband did not give permission.
