Question 704
Does the Imam (a) encourage a woman to appear on the channel, or does he (a) prefer that we avoid it? What does he advise a woman who appears in programs on the channel, and what are his (a) directions for her? Sahar - United Arab Emirates
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. Like a man, a woman may work and appear in the media so long as she observes the obligatory hijab.
