Question 810

‘O mankind, be conscious of your Lord, who created you from a single soul and created from it its mate, and spread from them many men and women. Be conscious of Allah, in whose name you ask one another, and of kinship. Indeed, Allah is ever watchful over you’ [al-Nisaʾ 4:1]. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. To our father, master, and guardian Ahmed Alhasan, the vicegerent and messenger of Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him): peace be upon you, my master, and upon your good and pure fathers, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. My master, the noble verse above was the verse that appeared for my daughter when she opened the Noble Quran concerning her maternal cousin’s proposal of marriage to her. I have written to you hoping for your opinion concerning this marriage, because you are the guardian of our affairs, our elder, and the crown upon our heads. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
