Question 67

If a woman sees blood on the first day, breaks her fast and stops praying because she thinks it is menstruation, but the bleeding does not continue for three consecutive days, what must she do? Is there an expiation for deliberately breaking the fast?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

She is only required to make up what was missed.
