I discovered a small spot of nail polish on the underside of my nail that had remained from nail polish I wore two weeks earlier. Must I repeat my prayers and ghusls? I am fasting today— is my fast valid or invalid?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
There is no need to repeat the ghusl or wudu. The prayer and fast are valid. In general, it is not necessary for water to reach beneath the nail.
